The Wings Project: Goddess Leonie

“I believe that inside me, and inside you, there is a Goddess. A woman of wisdom, beauty and deep soul.” – Goddess Leonie

“My wings are gossamer and strong… they are the magic of wise woman
& gladness fairy together.
If I get really still, and listen, and breathe,
I can feel them unfold and unfurl from my shoulders,
shaking their dance in their air around me,
gathering around me, holding me, protecting me,
helping me to shine.”

- Goddess Leonie

I am so excited to share my this with you! This is the first of my Wings Project posts. When I first started blogging, I was drawn to Leonie’s incredible spirit. All you have to do is go to her site and you can feel all of the love and power that she is radiating from the screen towards you. She has been an inspiration in the truest sense of the word. She is so powerfully herself, she reminds you that all that you are is worth being. When I thought about who to ask to share their wings, she was one of the first people who came to mind. Seeing this powerful image, I know you’ll be able to see why: she has beautiful wings!

You can find Leonie at Goddess Guidebook. Her site is bursting with inspiration, energy, gentleness and resources to help you live a “creative and sacred godddess life.” On a personal note, I highly recommend her Creative Goddess eCourse!

Thank you for sharing your wings with us Leonie!

Wonderful! I’m still wondering how to make a picture of my wings. I’ve never really worked visually much before so this is a BIG step out of my comfort zone but thank you for that!
